Modern Slavery Statement
Financial Year Ending: 18 February 2026
Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year. Tayside Technical Services is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and supply chain, and imposes the same high standards on its contractors, suppliers and other business partners.
Our Business and Supply Chains
Tayside Technical Services is a provider of bespoke software development, AI automation, and technical operations services. Our supply chain is relatively simple, primarily consisting of professional services, software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers, and cloud infrastructure suppliers based in the UK, Europe, and the United States.
Given the nature of our business, we assess the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations and immediate supply chain to be low. However, we are not complacent and are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and we are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or our supply chain.
Due Diligence Processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place systems to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
- Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Protect whistleblowers.
We conduct due diligence on new suppliers and periodically review our existing suppliers. We expect all our contractors, suppliers and other business partners to comply with our values.
Training
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff.
Our Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking
We will know the effectiveness of the steps that we are taking to ensure that slavery and/or human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chain if no reports are received from employees, the public, or law enforcement agencies to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified.
