  • Client Data & Source Documents: Information, documents, and other content you upload or provide for the purpose of using our AI-powered services, such as the Knowledge Base generation. This data is stored securely in Google Cloud Storage and Firestore.
  • Generated Content: The output from our AI services, such as generated knowledge base articles, which are stored in your client-specific Firestore database.
  • Usage Data: We collect information on how you access and use the Services. This may include your IP address, browser type, and actions taken within the application. This is used for service improvement, billing, and security.
  • Support Communications: Any information you provide when you contact our support channels (e.g., via Crisp chat or email).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Services.
  • To process and fulfil your requests for AI-driven content generation.
  • To manage your account, including processing payments and sending service-related communications.
  • To improve our Services, including training our AI models and enhancing the user experience.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • To monitor the usage of our Services for security and compliance purposes.

4. Data Processing and Third-Party Services

To provide our services, we rely on trusted third-party providers. Your data is processed by:

  • Google Cloud Platform (Firebase): Our application is built on Firebase, a Google service. Your data, including account information, source documents, and generated content, is stored and processed on Google Cloud infrastructure in the specified region (e.g., `europe-west2`).
  • Google AI (Gemini Models): When you use our AI features, the source documents or prompts you provide are sent to Google's AI Platform to be processed by their generative models (e.g., Gemini). We do not permit Google to use this data for training their general models.
  • Crisp IM SARL: When you use our live chat feature, your conversation data is processed by Crisp.

5. Data Security and Storage

We take data security very seriously. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit. Your data is stored within your client-specific collections in our Firestore database, ensuring strict data segregation between clients. Access to data is controlled by stringent Firebase Security Rules.

6. GDPR and Your Data Protection Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. Your rights include:
